Bag Packers - Gobbler Series  
The Gobbler Series compactors are bag packers normally installed in below grade trash rooms, used in conjunction with a trash chute system in high-rise apartment buildings. The units can also be hand fed. The unit compacts and extrudes trash into heavy duty bags. Single or multiple bags are available. Using the multiple bag system, the unit will compact and extrude up to 500 Ibs. of trash before bag removal is required. This system is ideal for times when the machine may be unattended, such as over weekends, etc. Operation is completely automatic, being activated by an electric eye which reacts to the presence of trash in the hopper. The system automatically shuts down when the bag is full.

There are three standard models in the series: The Gobbler 1, Gobbler 2 and Gobbler 16. The Gobbler 1 is an extremely practical, compact machine designed to meet the restricted floor space common in many apartment building refuse rooms. The Gobbler 2 is a larger machine design for higher volumes (100+ apartments). For extremely large volumes, the Gobbler 16 provides a heavy duty solution to waste handling problems. All three machines are equipped with industry standard components, designed for long life and low maintenance. Each machine comes with an electrically interlocked hopper door, located on the hopper front, for service access.

1830 Series Compactors for High-Rise Buildings
The 1830 Series compactors are normally installed in street level trash rooms and used in conjunction with a trash chute system in high-rise buildings. Operation is automatic, with the unit being activated by an electric eye which senses trash in the loading hopper. The units can also be hand fed. These units are typically used with two cubic yard compaction containers which, when full, are wheeled outside for pick-up by a commercial trash service. The unit automatically shuts down when the container is full.

There are five models available in the 1830 Series, which provides a machine to suit most any application. The Model 1830-2000 is the standard full-size machine provided with a 5 HP power unit for high volume applications. The Model 1830-Standard, also a full-size machine, has a 1 HP power unit to handle smaller volumes. The 1830-3005 (5 HP) and 1830-3001 (1 HP) are ideally suited for those situations where shortened room length makes it impossible to use the standard length machine. Through the innovative use of two cylinders mounted crosswise within the machine, the overall length of the machine can be shortened without sacrificing the compaction chamber size. The Model 1830-4000 is a space-saving design, for trash rooms where the shortest container packer is required.
